Frequently asked questions.

What types of therapy do you offer?

We specialize in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused Therapy. Please see the about page to learn more about the therapeutic approaches provided.

How do I know I need therapy?

In 2023, almost 24% of individuals aged 18 or older received some sort of mental health treatment. There are numerous reasons someone seeks out therapy, from feelings of distress to dissatisfaction with one’s quality of life, or wanting to learn additional coping skills to manage everyday life stressors. It is ultimately an individual decision and here is a resource from the American Psychological Association if you’d like to learn more. If you’d like to pursue therapy, please see the contact us page to set up a consultation phone call to see if we would be a good fit to work together.

Do you accept insurance?

We do not currently accept insurance. Fees range from $225 - $275. However, we will provide documentation (invoice or “superbill”) for those who are wanting to submit out-of-network reimbursement or use health savings accounts (hsa) or flexible savings accounts (fsa).

If you are wanting to use out of network benefits, we encourage you to contact your insurance representative before your first session.

Do you offer online/teletherapy sessions?

Yes! We can provide virtual therapy to any adults living in Massachusetts (e.g., Boston, the Berkshires, North Shore, the Cape and the Islands). We use a secure platform designed just for therapists that is easy and simple to use. Virtual therapy is a convenient option for those who don’t always have the time to drive to see a therapist or are looking to make an appointment over their lunch break. Lastly, telehealth has been found to be an effective treatment option according to recent research.
