  • We specialize in working with individuals with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Depression.

We also recognize that sometimes life feels harder than other times. We work with clients experiencing burnout, stress, sleep difficulties, life transitions, and work challenges.

  • We specialize in working with parents experiencing burnout, family challenges, as well as those pregnant, and postpartum.

We provide the SPACE evidenced-based treatment program developed at Yale Child Study Center by Dr. Eli Lebowitz. SPACE stands for Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions and is a parent-based treatment program for children and adolescents with anxiety, OCD, and related problems. Parents (and other caregivers) participate in SPACE treatment sessions. In most cases the child or adolescent does not need to attend the treatment sessions. The program is usually conducted in 6-12 weeks.

Parental Identify is another area of specialization. This means exploring who you want to be as a parent, identifying your values as a parent, and how to navigate your identity as a parent without losing yourself in the process.

Additionally, supporting parents through difficult times or navigating issues that are complex is of great importance. Dr. Silva has worked with countless parents in both public and specialized schools, clinics, and private practice in supporting them support their child in achieving developmental milestones and overcoming barriers to common growing “pains”. We focus on helping parents who are working through sleep training, potty training, picky eaters, children exhibiting behavioral difficulties, and other developmental challenges.

  • We provide expertise and consultation in navigating the special education process such as IEPs, 504s, assessments, eligibility, and out of district placements.

Dr. Silva has worked with parents, teachers, special educators, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists in crafting IEP objectives that are skill based, linked to assessment, and are focused on meaningful improvement.
